We know many of you will be travelling to Hamilton Island with partners, friends, or family. While we’re unable to include additional guests at the ceremony and reception, they are very welcome to join us for the other celebrations surrounding the wedding.

Pop in to join us for an afternoon drink to kick off the celebrations and watch the sunset. Bommie Deck is a bar only and doesn’t serve food, so please keep that in mind for your dinner plans.

This will be a casual get‑together, so feel free to drop in whenever you like, no dress code, no schedule - just come by for a drink if you’d like from 4pm!

Come and unwind with us at Sails Pool from 11am for a relaxed recovery.

Drop in whenever you feel up to it and there’s a swim‑up bar for those wanting to keep the celebrations going.

Hamilton Island is stunning a tropical paradise in the Whitsundays known for its turquoise waters and palm-lined beaches.

The island is easy to navigate, with only a 10‑minute walk separating the marina and Catseye Beach sides. With no cars only golf buggies and shuttles, everything feels close, relaxed, and easy to explore.

If you choose to stay a little longer than the wedding, spend your time swimming, sailing, snorkelling, enjoying scenic walks, soaking up spectacular sunsets, and excellent food.

Direct flights from Brisbane onto the island take just under two hours, and there are multiple daily services.

This classic island hotel features spacious rooms with garden or Coral Sea views. It’s centrally located and a great option for those who want easy access to pools, restaurants and island activities.

Set amongst lush tropical gardens, these freestanding bungalows have a relaxed, holiday feel with their own outdoor spaces. They’re perfect if you’re after a laid‑back vibe while still being close to everything the island has to offer.

beach club

A luxury adults‑only option right on the beachfront. With close proximity to Catseye Beach, this is ideal for couples or friends looking for a tranquil beachside stay.

A gorgeous new boutique escape nestled among palms at the northern end of Catseye Beach, offering modern rooms, private pool cabanas and waters‑edge dining.

holiday homes & apartments

For groups, families or those who love a home‑away‑from‑home vibe, privately‑rented holiday homes and apartments are also available around the island. These often come with kitchens and generous space ideal for extended stays or shared groups.

getting around

Hamilton Island is compact with most places only a short walk apart. Many guests simply get around on foot, though some hotels offer driver services for transfers around the island. Golf buggies are also a popular option and are best pre‑booked. A complimentary island shuttle runs throughout the day, connecting key spots like the marina, resort centre, and accommodation areas.

Babysitting Services
Hamilton Island maintains a guest‑convenience directory of local babysitters who offer private childcare, often in your accommodation, or for evenings out.

Clownfish Club
This holiday childcare centre caters to children roughly 6 months to 12 years and bookings are essential.
